Chromium Ore Should Be A Dry, Clean Lump Or Concentrate With A Lump Size Of Less Than 50mm; Containing Cr2O3>40%, Cr2O3/ S FeO>2.0, Phosphorus Content Should Not Exceed 0.03%. Select Silicon Chromium Alloys With Different Carbon Contents Based On The Grade Of The Micro Carbon Engraved Iron Smelted. When Smelting Low-carbon Iron With A Carbon Content Of 0.06%, The Carbon Content Of Silicon Chromium Alloy Should Be Less Than 0.06%; When Smelting Submerged Arc Furnace For Ferrochrome Production With A Carbon Content Of 0.03%, The Carbon Content Of The Silicon Chromium Alloy Should Be Less Than 0.03%. Silicon Chromium Alloy Shall Not Contain Slag, And The Block Size Shall Not Exceed 15mm. Fragments Less Than 1mm Shall Be Sieved Out. Lime Requires A CaO Content Greater Than 88% And A Phosphorus Content Less Than 0.02%. Newly Burned Lime With A Block Size Of 10-50mm Should Be Used.
