Dibasic Lead Phosphite (Diphos) Is Produced And Supplied As A Fine White Or Slightly Brown Powder. With A Lead (Pb) Content Of 83.5%, It Confers Excellent Long Term Weather Protection On Both Rigid And Flexible PVC Compounds. It Has A High Refractive Index Which Imparts A Higher Opacity Than Other Basic Lead Compounds, Smell Sweet. Indissoluble In Water But Dissoluble In Acid, Changes Into Ashblack At 200℃ And Changes Into Yellow At 450℃. Will Burn When Meeting Fire.
