Suction Filters and Strainers Are Used To Trap And Remove Impurities From Hydraulic Fluid. They Are Usually Installed On The Suction Inlet Or Piping Of A Pump To Protect The System From Taking In Solid Foreign Matter From The Fluid Reservoir. Suction Strainers Are Generally Made With A Coarse Mesh Screen To Capture And Collect Large Particulates As The Fluid Flows Into The Pump.
