Its Relative Density Is 1.58658g/cm³ At 62 °C (45mm Hg) And Refractive Index Is 1.49418 (25/4?). It Is Miscible With Ethanol, Methanol, Chloroform, Benzene, Carbon Tetrachloride, Carbon Disulfide, Benzene, Dimethyl Amide And Oil While It Is Difficultly Soluble In Water. The Product Will Volatile With Water Steam. It Has Chloroform Smell. The Impure Product Is Readily To Decompose To Yield Hydrogen Chloride And Trichloro Ethylene While The Pure Product Is Stable.
