Optical Brightener OB can be used for whitening thermoplastics, PVC, PS, PE, PP, ABS, acetate fibre, paint, coating, printing ink, etc. It can be added for whitening at any stage of process of polymers and can give the finished products a bright bluish white glaze.

The dosage should be 0.01-0.05% on weight of plastic.

3.The Adding Methods Of Optical Brighteners:
According To The Different Producing Techniques Of Paints, There Are Two Ways Of Adding Optical Brighteners:
(1) Optical Brighteners OB Are Usually Added In Powder Form During The Grinding Process (also The Preparation process Of Paste) Of Paints Production, Then Grinded Together With Paint Vehicle. After Fully Grinded To Microparticle With Diameter ≤20μm, Evenly Disperse It Into Paints.
(2) After Levigating Optical Brighteners OB, Add It Into Paints By High-speed Dispersion Machine.
