Product Description

The rhizome of dormant Veratrum grandiflorum accumulated hakurirodine, a new 22,26-epiminocholestane alkaloid. This alkaloid, derived from verazine but not from etioline, was found to be a key intermediate in the biosynthesis of rubijervine.
