As the world’s largest producer, consumer and exporter of ceramic tiles, the sheer scale of China’s volumes has been driving world growth in production, consumption and exportation for over 15 years. In 2013, China’s ceramic tile production reached 9.69 billion㎡, comparing to 8.99 billion ㎡ production of 2012, it has risen 7.8%. The amount is nearly equivalent to 60% of world production. The annual turnover of more than 1400 companies across China has reached 383.1 billion Yuan, increased by 17.43% over last year.
