Electro-Flux was incorporated in 1994 as a sole propriety firm in Islamabad Pakistan with the primary objective to undertake Research and Development activity not within the scope of the existing R&D centers in Pakistan. Pakistan being a developing country and with virtually no base in the Electronics technology; had absolutely no organization or private institution with expertise in the field of Power Electronics. During early 90’s the concepts of Switch Mode Power Supply, high efficiency DC-to-DC conversion, Motor Speed Control both through Phase Angle Control and Frequency were non-existent or scarcely known in Pakistan. Only a few companies were providing maintenance services to the industrial units who had employed modern machinery and tools.
