Sichuan Qionglai Sima Winery is established in 1985, located in Qionglai, the biggest raw wine production base in China. With a construction area of over 50 mu, and 83 km away from Chengdu, the distillery has five production shops, which can produce more than 30000 tons of high-quality base wine and many kinds of flavoring liquors every year.
In Han Dynasty of China about two thousand years ago, there was a well-known poet named Sima Xiangru and a girl named Zhuo Wenjun in Qionglai, Sichuan Province; The Male Phoenix Pursuit, a song which describes their love story and Zhuo Wenjun who sold liquor have been a favourite tale. Established by the descendant of Sima Xiangru and endowed with the traditional technology about hundreds of years long, Sima Distillery uses the ecological spring from the Sima ancient well and high-quality five grains to brew the liquor in the natural and ecological crypt – high-quality base wine and bottled wine in Lancaihe series. With characteristics of light smell, clear tinct and mellow mouth feel, Sima wine is sold well both in China and abroad.
